Mooresville, NC 28117</p><p><strong>Job Overview:</strong></p><p>The Shop Foreman / Senior Master Technician is responsible for maintaining workflow and work distribution among technicians. This role works closely with the Service Manager to oversee the quality of work on our guests’ vehicles and shop efficiency. </p><p>We are looking for foreman/technicians who are energetic, upbeat and have a positive attitude. The foreman/technician we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guest.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong></p><ul><li>Manage and oversee individual technician workloads and overall workflow in the service area; liaison to service manager and service advisor</li><li>Working with the service manager/service advisors, ensure that all repairs are assigned to technicians in an equal and fair manner, commensurate with demonstrated skill level</li><li>Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks. Conducts periodic spot checks of work-in-progress and completed jobs for thoroughness, accuracy, and quality.</li><li>Proficient in reprogramming/flashing and advanced scan tool applications</li><li>Quality control – post repair. Perform quality control checks on completed work performed</li><li>Provides technical support for technicians when necessary, including that which is sourced through CBA TAC, OEM-level and aftermarket support network</li><li>Ensures recommended repairs are accurately specified, and parts and labor are true and accurate based on identified need, and that are charged out correctly.</li><li>Oversee technician team progress through internal training requirements and coach technicians to prepare for certifications</li><li>Train and mentor new technicians </li><li>Help other technicians diagnose and repair vehicles when necessary (i.e., mitigates misdiagnosis, promotes employee development, etc.)</li><li>Conduct quarterly technician performance touchpoints to establish and monitor the progress of career goals and employee performance</li><li>Manage technician team-building opportunities </li><li>Educate technician team to uphold brand and quality standards of the team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively</li><li>Manage and maintain shop supplies and equipment </li><li>Monitor bulk fluid levels</li><li>Monitor shop efficiency through technician hours reports and ticket audit process</li><li>Manage scan tool subscriptions</li><li>Distribute shop housekeeping tasks among all technicians by promoting our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization</li><li>Manage and oversee technician work schedule</li><li>Enforce safety regulations and protocols </li><li>Work closely with the service manager and advisors to effectively communicate customer concerns and assist with customer complaint resolution when necessary </li></ul>

Qualifications
<p><strong>Qualifications: </strong></p><ul><li>Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest</li><li>7+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic</li><li>Excellent automotive diagnostic skills</li><li>A strong investment in tools</li><li>ASE A1-A8 Certifications required, Master L1 preferred</li><li>Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles</li><li>Extensive knowledge of Euro and other import vehicles a plus</li><li>Meet or exceed hourly shop goals</li><li>Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes</li><li>Professional appearance and strong communication</li><li>A desire for long-term career development</li></ul><p><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li>Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds</li><li>Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head</li><li>Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair</li><li>Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools</li><li>Walk/stand for the majority of their workday</li><li>Drive manual transmissions vehicles</li><li>Efficiently navigate a computer</li></ul>
